JIPMER POSTGRADUATE (PG) Medical MD/MS admission application

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research originated as Ecolab de Medicine de Pondicherry established by the French Government in the year 1823.

This medical school was converted into Dhanvantari Medical College at the time of de facto transfer of Pondicherry to Government of India.

This Medical College was later upgraded into Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER).

How to apply:

Admission processes to the MD/MS Courses will be made biannually during January and July sessions.

Call for applications will be announced in the month of October and April every year and all major news Papers in India will carry the announcement. Online registration of applications will be made on JIPMER website www.jipmer.edu.in Entrance examination will be held during the 4th Sunday of every November/May. Commencement of course on first of January / first of July. Close of the admission is 31^st January / July.

(JIPMER) Admission will be made as per Roster point reservation through open counseling.
