UPCMET Entrance 2015 Exam Pattern

UPCMET 2015 Exam Pattern: The exam conducting authority Uttar Pradesh Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association has notified that entrance examination date. The state level medical entrance exam is scheduled to be held on May 30, 2015 in paper pencil format. The entrance exam is conducted to offer admission for nearly 1450 MBBS seats at 12 participating institutes.

Important Features of UPCMET 2015 Exam Pattern: know about paper pattern, number of questions, and marking scheme. 

Paper Pattern: Candidates have to appear for two papers, which be held on the same day. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall the time gap between both the papers. Paper I will be divided into two sections - physical science and biological science. Paper II will have 50 questions on general English. Paper-I will be of 200 marks and Paper-II will be of 50 marks.

Duration: The candidates will be given 3 hours and 15 minutes excluding 15 minutes of break in between the two papers for the exam.

Paper – I - Physical Sciences and Biological Sciences

Marking scheme: UPCMET 2015 Exam Pattern follows the marking scheme as under –

·         Paper I shall be of 200 marks and Paper II shall be of 50 marks. While the combined maximum marks for merit in UPCMET 2015 Exam would be 200 as the Paper II of General English is of qualifying nature.

·         There will be negative marks of ¼ for each wrong answer marked. If candidate attempts more than one answer to a question, that too shall be treated as wrong answer marked.
